Positive progress once again!

This past weekend I hooked up the power steering pump to the rebuilt ram and control valve. I got the ground points all hooked up nice and solid. Checked the brakes one more time and got a little more air out of the lines, not enough to worry but enough to make the brakes soft definitely. Adjusted the parking brake to be equal on both sides (the left was loose and the right was too tight). Got the fan shroud in and everything torqued down one more time. THe moment of truth yesterday was to line it up in the driveway and try to drive it. I got it fired up and idle for a few seconds, push on the brakes, and drop it into gear and.......nothing, no movement in any gear. I wheel it back and check the fluid level and can't get a reading on the dip stick. The frustrating part was that it was already close to dark and with open headers I didn't have any more time to top off the transmission and try again. The nieghbors don't like open headers after dark. :-(
